The Bad Bad Month of August

I conclude...

That our people love Singapore sooooo much...

That they love our nation's birthday to death...

That they decide to conceive their children such that their children's birthdays fall in conjuction with this nation's celebration...

Because they just WANT it to be August...

OR...

The parents simply conceive them in the December due to some 2nd/3rd/4th (whatever lah) honeymoon getaway during the school holidays such that their babies would be born in August.

Whatever the theories are.

I'm really shouting out loud.

Due to the overwhelming number of August birthdays I have in my list, I am going really really broke at just the thought of how many gifts.

No I'm not insincere.

But I'm not kidding when I said OVERWHELMING.

And of all people, they have to include my girlfriendssssssss (check out the plural form) and yes, DEAREST MOMMY.

Of course that's not all.

I'm on the verge of fainting.

Don't blame me if you get your present one month late, rather, take pity on me.

Damn you all, August babies.
